The button is stuck and when I finally manage to pull it out and press it again it doesnt work. What else can I do besides paying for some1 to fix it. It's an old computer and the only reason i want it on is to get some important stuff from the hard drive.

Leave it 'on' and just plug it in and unplug the computer.

Open the side of the case, unplug the two wires coming from the button to your motherboard, use a scredriver and touch the two pins that the wires were plugged into. When you are finished, shut the computer down as normal.

If you can not get the "on" button to work one more time so you can get the information, you can always take the hard drive out of the computer. Take it to another computer and install it temporarily as a second hard drive. Copy off whatever you need.

Take the overall cover off then the front panel can be taken off. The front panel is actually where the button is located. Sometimes it can be difficult but keep trying. Pull and figure out where the connections are on the front panel and you will see how to take it off. Be very careful not to touch anything else you could get the shock of your life.
