The best place to find information about the candidates, both Democrats and Republicans is their own website, Simply Google Official Website and the name of the Candidate you want to research.
Ron Paul is officially listed as a Republican. While being strongly opposed to the war in Iraq, he is quite conservative on some of his other political stands. Check out his views on his website. Democrats are not idiots, my friend. They are people with political views that are different from your own. Would you prefer that we all think and act the same.

I love how most republicans spell. Funny how they never see the irony of calling democrats and others stupid.
