I like fast but melodic punk rock like The Pistols, Outl4w, 999.
Any suggestions?

Melodic punk rock? You are going in to too much detail, there is punk and there is pop-punk or hardcore punk (which is made my kids who are just jumping on a bandwagon).
Sex pistols.

check out "At Point Break" by The Unseen and "This Song Is Definately Not About A Girl" by Set Your Goals. those are the two best punk bands i've ever heard

The Pistols are the dogs bollox, not a patch on the Clash though. Post punk it has to be Fugazi for me
