I just read this ridiculous question and the person was angry because a few people in his/her isolated town followed an urban lifestyle. And my question is, why do people feel ownership over other people who share the same ethnicity as they do?

i doubt it is owndership, they just dont take the time to consider that everyone is an individual. but i understand the frustration when someone takes it upon themself to become the spokesperson for a large group of people. i dont think the person you were talking about was trying to say all white people felt the way he did. he was just an idiot

Nobody owns Nobody. Everyone needs to live their lives and we need to have more respect for each other. Of course, there are always exceptions for that.
