Ok, I had created an account on a forum site, and I used names for my username:

Examples:

Msnboy
Yahooking
KFCman

Is ths counted as copyright as I used their name? Reliable answers please =)

Copyright protects creative works -- art, poems, stories, maps, software, etc -- not names or logos.

What you are talking about is trademark law -- which protects the use of names and logos in business.

If you were using those handles privately, and for non-business purposes -- and were not using them in such a way that it was intentionally hurting the business who owns the trademarks -- then you are not infringing.

No, you aren't violating copyright but if you pretend to belong to any of those organizations you might be breaking some laws (can't remember which).
