I always tell my cat that I wish he could talk--as he peers at me with his beautiful blue eyes. Then he meows! I love him so much.....
I wouldn't be in trouble because I don't do anything too bad. He would ask me to play with him all the time--he already does that non-verbally.
The one potentially embarrassing aspect is that he sits in the bathroom with me when I shower. If he could talk then I wonder if he would tell me that I need to work out more? That I need to lose weight.......MEOW!!!!

I'd never be embarrased only if I had done something carnal to the animal ... (wink wink say no more). And yes, it would say something about me -- that I was a freak and needed deep psychological counseling. But this was just hypothetical, right?
I guess the dog could complain about the often misblamed flatulence.

RAM answered the question as I would have. Plus, he'd probably say I don't spend as much time with him as he'd like, and ask why I don't feed him more than dog food, treats every not and again, and water. I hopw he would say that he loves me as much as I really do love him. Bandit rules. :))))

If animals could talk one day definately they would ask for their animal rights for living and slaughter. They may form a big unions and they may start killing man.

My dogs would have nothing but love stories. I love them to much and they are quite spoiled.
