No, not in the sense of the movie or the sense we think of as interacting with people in the past. If there would have been a possibility, in the future, we would know, because , let's say in 500 hears , someone reads about Hitler, and the world war ii, someone would have gone in the past and killed Hitler, or his mother, so he would not have been born.
Toy with the idea, you could go back in time, meet your mother, have an affair with her, and become your own father.
Or if you think life is not worth living, but haven' t the courage to kill yourself, you go back in time and kill your mother, or grand mother, therefore you wouldn't have been born.
Are you broke financially, well go back in time and buy stock from Microsoft as it is starting, you'd be a bilionnaire by now.
You can go on and on like this...... What do you think?

i watched a t.v. show about time travel the other day but the power that would be required is right now impossible for us to harness. AND they said that you couldn't go further in the past beyond the invention of the time machine. so you can't invent one today and go back at all. but you could go forward. it's all very complicated. i say that if the world is still around in 1,000 years there will be some form of time travel. i'm glad i won't be around for it.
