Yes you need to worry, Termites live in the wood of your home. You may not see them. Just because the house is brick, does not mean that the foundation and truses are brick. They will not enter the home until they have eaten everything else.
Call an exterminator immediatly. Also, the sign of the mud tubes shows that you have a very bad infestation.
