I believe tattooing is an art the tattooist has to be more steady and reach the highest quality every time they tattoo because there is no eraser for a living canvas (human skin) it must be right the first time no exception

Yes i think it is an art. Because people who design art express how they feel with no words. Tattoos are the same way, their is always a significance of getting a tat, its always a story behind each one.

I certainly feel that wearing tattoos is an expression of an individual's creativity while giving tattoos is a medium with which to express one's artistic side.

in general it's art!
I also think its a way of self exspression -- not everyon wants to right a song or a book or tell people how they want to be expressed so this is a nice way of doing it!

I also think some humans don't think before getting them!

Yes it is however not the cookie cutter stuff you find on the walls of the parlors, I think if an artist can work freehand and design his/her own stuff they are truely artists, when working from those cookie cutter stencile it is just like coloring in a coloring book.........trust me I have tatts both ways
