when my car is idling it shakes like every couple of seconds. u can feel it bucking as u take off. Also feels like its lost a acceleration. its more like the motors shaking. The service engine light comes on and sometime it goes off. lately its been coming on and then starts blinking. I put it on a diagnostic computer and i got a code for an O2 sensor. I dont believe an 02 sensor could cause this big a problem. i believe its gotta be a misfire. I'm gonna get pugs and wires 2day...think that'll solve my problem

I think you are wrong and the O2 sensor is the problem. It is what makes your air-fuel ration setting and could be going too rich every time it has a bad measurement.

I had an equivalent problem on a car under warranty and that is what they replaced to cure it.

I have the exact same problem. The diagnostic said the same thing. The code didn't say exactly what needs to be replaced but it had to do with the oxygen. Either too much oxygen was getting in or it wasn't getting enough. So yes, O2 sensor could cause this problem. My check engine light comes on and sometimes it doesn't. It idles rought and my pick-up has dropped off considerably.

I wish you had given the code. Is it P0172?
Anyways! It could be vacuum leak, O2 sensors, Bad fuel or injectors, EGR valve, PCV valve, ignition problem or an electrical issue.
Check spark plugs and wires. Inspect the distributor cap & rotor for any wear, cracks or water, if distributless have the coil pack tested. Inspect the wiring harness for burns, cuts or corrosion. Test your fuel pressure then if you cannot find the problem begin replacing parts starting with O2 sensors for both banks.
Good luck!

It is acting more like a fuel or fuel/air mixture problem.

Make sure your air and fuel filters are clean. Also, run some injector cleaner through your gas tank. One of your injectors can be sticking .
Shaking like that can definitely be a misfire and in some instances it can diagnose as faulty O2 sensor.
