Wow !!! this one is hard. There are so many deserving of the title that is shared by the greatest of greats.
I just can't do it..
If you don't start with Chuck Berry, you dis the man that showed us all how it was done, from there all others were made.
I'm glad to see Yngwie mentioned, but where is Zappa and Les Paul, Duane Allman, Joe Satriani, Neil Young, Mick Ronson, Johnny Winter of course and Stevie Ray, Steve Vai, John Fogerty, Mark knopfler, BB King

Whew!!! Stop me lord.. I'm out of control .

Yes Eddie did an amazing job with three cords, so he too gets a guitar god title, but lets be real, he will have to show us some shreddin kick *** riffs to be atop with the likes of Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Beck, George Harrison and Johnny Ramone and Slash.

Nuff said... I have a bunch of names just eggin me on, but I have pushed the limit. so sorry.
