A former British subject, Benjamin Franklin, coined the phrase, "early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise."
I guess that your principle makes a man sick, poor, and stupid.

Funny that was my impression of the British while traveling there. Never saw one of them pick random fights, fondle, nor wear traffic cones, perhaps because that would've gotten them arrested.
Then again, most British wouldn't have been able to compose such brilliant prose like "as an Englishman who is currently in the USA i business i feel i must ask this." Because most of them graduated from schooling.

I agree Sid, they have no idea of fun. There's nothing better than stroking a womans bottom at a kebab stall. I recall, whilst waiting for a train at Baker St. station in London in the 60s, having a womans skirt up around her waist. It was all in a day's fun. We dated for a long time afterwards.

I think that you need to find a better reason to bring down our cousin's than what you have said, nothing wrong with getting an early night,it's also a way of avoiding people like yourself, if this is how you represent our country, then you shouldn't be aloud a passport and go back to school for a crash course in spelling, goodnight.

Sid you are one of the many brigade of US Yahoo Users who for some reason want to sour relations between the Americans and British, last week you were posing as an American to bash the Brits!!
The ignorant anti american questions from people posing as Brits all seem to follow the same pattern and are responded to by the same group of Trolls....
Whose turn is it next to pose as an Englishman to call all 'yanks' fat and stupid so the rest can jump to their countries defence and generate poor feeling or perhaps all of you might next pose as brits and agree with the question.
A pattern of names and writing styles is starting to form...
I include other users in this list such as Rev Carlos and RAY N. RAY has particular trouble in his past yahoo answers remembering what nationality he is.
How strange...before posting this Rev Carlos Q&A was available and RAY Ns' was private...now the reverse is true and RAY N has allowed access to his profile but his second account (Rev Carlos) has mysteriously been made private... you aint fooling anyone...
Still waiting for you to contact me on IM!!!! Its up to you which account you choose, will it be RAY N? Sidney Vicious? Sidney vicious? Rev Carlos? or perhaps another?
My instant message is always open but yours sadly aren't!

You can't label all Americans with the same title. That would be as bad as suggesting that you are a typical example of British manhood. God forbid.
I always thought your typical American was more like Homer Simpson than they would like to admit. Perhaps they are civilised after all.

Are they? I think not, some are some are not same as the rest of us.
I've often been told I am boring but I still live happily. I'm sure Americans do so whether we find them boring or not.
Are you sure it is not you who is boring or perhaps just boorish?

You're most likely dealing with the same people everyday, thus not seeing the whole array of American ways of life.
"Most Americans would rather go to bed early."
It's the American way - 'Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.'
hehe.
