I think that thing that feels "missing" in all of us is the constant human hunger to keep moving, keep growing, keep striving to improve. If we ever lost that hunger, life would be pointless. I feel the same way you do, but I try to embrace it and see where it takes me.

Well, no, frankly I don't. I've been working for the last 10 years in a foreign country, non-stop, thinking it would improve my life, but I am currently emotionally tired and I need to re-charge my batteries. I'm going in a few months' time back home, and I won't be working for a while, but studying a subject I like for a BA in Literature. If I work, it will be part-time. Life is not something that a sane person should "love"; you should try to live it the best *you* can. Only towards the end can you say it was a good life. There can be no regrets as these are past and gone: you can only take action from the present. I'll get a dog, a house and a new life in the French countryside - what's not to look forward to? :-)

No one is ever really truly satisfied. Ask everyone and they will say there is something they still want.
I can't complain. I have a wonderful hubby, 2 great kids, a few pets, a house we own, a car that works, some great friends, my parents and my in laws are still married and alive, we have great neighbours, we always have food on the table. I think I have a great life.
If you think there is something missing, then you need to figure out what it is. How old are you? Are you in a relationship? If not, maybe you need to be. I don't know but you need to figure out what it is that's missing.
Maybe you're not missing anything. Sit down and figure out what you DO have and you just might see that nothings missing. Not knowing you personally, that's about all the help I can offer.

If completely immersed in life, and soaked to the core, I could not have wants from somewhere outside the life that I am. If all my wants I derive form the life I have then all I want is what I have, and the rest is only what I think I want as if I feel that I could love life more then I do, then it is only what I think that it is the case. What I have as life and for life is only a proper realisation of what I genuinely want - I may want more, as I do dream, but then I will also have more in form of my dreams to be fulfilled.
May supreme forces of Goodness spare me from being a hypocrite to the life I have!

Same here I feel something isn't complete. That I'm still missing out on life eventhough I'm making the best of it.

I do love my life. I enjoy my life to the fullest because there is no way for me to return back. So i make it a point to achieve something for the betterment. The necessity to live is so important to one's life. This is the foundation of everything in order for you to be happy in life. Don't feel that you don't love your life because you are making yourself miserable. Put positive thoughts in your mind and you will earn positive things in life. Enriched yourself with good thoughts and ideas. Learn to be a positive thinker. Try loving yourself first because it is where you will draw love for others.

No , for one reason or another , it's only occasionally that I experiance a euphoric feeling and think it's great to be alive. As I experiance these , I know to enjoy these times to the fullest because it's rare and in a blink of time over.

I don't think I do either. I'm always letting stress get to me and it keeps me from enjoying life so much. I don't think we will be totally fulfilled and happy until we are in heaven with our Father God.
