Umm, hello everyone. I just wanted to ask if it would be wise to keep Additional Maths as a subject if i want to go for space sciences at a later stage, or should i just stick to physics.

P.S: I am totally naff at Maths. Crapola more like it!

i think you shouldnt take math because it has nothing to do with space stuff and if you say ur bad then forget it. Jus do what your heart tell you to do.

Physics and math are basically in the same field. Like t/d=p. Time of distance equals power, it's a formula that produces a given sum or product, similar to math. Math is the language of logic, and just like any other tongue needs to be consistently practiced and refined. Take as many classes as you can possibly handle, the harder you work, the greater the reward. Besides knowledge is something that you can keep indefinitely.

It is going to be very difficult to do ANY kind of science without a lot of mathematics, "space sciences" whatever that is will be no different. Mathematics is essential to explain advanced scientific concepts. I would say you better learn math or look for a different field of study, like history and even then you won't go far in that field either, because you need math to do any kind of research.

what kinda physics are you interested in that doesn't involve math??....actually i think you have to understand some concept in mathematics before you even embark on any physics major...like calculus or something.
