Well anyone who takes the time to understand why we were attacked was not because we are free and rich.

We were attacked because they believe our being in there so-called holy lands is basically not right. They don't believe we belong there. That is why they hate us. If they attacked our freedoms why are we not in chains, locked in our rooms.

If you want to understand something you must first open your mind.

When Clinton was in office and following the lefts agenda of do what they want Impeachment for this we were attacked over and over, twin towers first attack, USS Cole, Mogadishu, 2 embassies. And Nancy Guralic who stood before Congress and defended Clinton's right to ease drop on phone calls which they turned around and attack Bush for doing.

Now to keep Americans safe as we have been from people who wish to enslave and murder all of us we have had to lower our freedoms to make sure we are not attacked as with the weapons and the world who would love to see us fall so they could pick us apart . Yes the Frenchie French with the noses up in the air are now more than ever needing us but we must first take care of our selves. And to do this we have just like during the civil ar had to give up freedoms to save the USA. And Islam has declared this is WWIII.

Now it is the Lib's who use this fact to incite fear in the minds of people for political gain the fear mongers that they are. We Conservatives know that to have freedom comes at the highest price and do not fear paying it to maintain it. And if the left is not soon waking up they and us will all pay the highest price and it will be gone forever.

Well, from my perspective I don't think 9/11 was an assault to freedom of US but a threat to the nation.

Your question is improperly worded.

It's not why most conservatives think it was an attack on our freedoms, it's why most rational thinking humans think it was an attack on our freedoms.

The answer is: Because there is unequivocal evidence that is was. Your way of life is repugnant to the attackers and they are emboldened by your inability to grasp the concept.
Consequently you are losing a bit of it everyday. Your children are destined to be the slaves of fear and violence.
People like you are a more serious threat than a bunch of angry uneducated religious nuts.

The slogan justifies overseas wars to "defend our freedom" It's short, easy to repeat, and with enough repetition, many people accept it as true without further evidence.

Well, I'm going to guess because, according to them, that was one of the main reasons why they attacked us. Plus they wanted us to give up our every day freedoms and live in fear...and since you already stated it as being "illogical", I highly doubt you're trying to understand anything, and just looking to stir things up.

Of course it was! You don't have to be a conservative to realize the logic. You just need to be intelligent enough to understand it.

Because by selling that message they managed to get the worst president in US history re-elected and they stayed in power.
That in itself proves it was the right thing to do.
