That's what is constantly coming out of our mouths. Oh, she looks good or I need to lose a few pounds, or she's cute, but if she would lose a few, she would be hot! When the industry finally starts making clothes and advertising with normal size women, we might see the attitudes change. You would think with all of us "normal" size girls that the designers would realize that they are limiting themselves from multi-million dollar sales by only accomodating skinny girls and Hollywood?

You hit the nail on the head. It's the media. People typically look 10 to 20 pounds larger in magazines and on tv. These women you see in print and on tv are really bone thin. It is unrealistic to think that most women can look this way. You don't see men starving themselves to look like movie stars. Women need to stand up and say 'forget you I'm eating ice cream'.

I'm a believer that most women can be sexy, regardless of their body type. Sexy is about the package and the confidence they have. You can take identical twins and have 1 be confidence, dressed for her body type, etc., and the other one be insecure; the confident one will instantly look sexier.
I don't think all thin women are unrealistic though. I, for one, am only 113 pounds at 24 years old and 5'7" in height. (I still have some curve though, 34C-26-33.) I don't do anything to be "thin", it's just in my genes that I have a fast metabolism.
I do agree, though, that pretty much any thinner than me starts getting icky. This is just nasty: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16598988/

Im glad you asked this... Of all the men Ive asked, they all think a healthy curve on a women is best.. No man seems to like to be boned to death... and as an old saying goes.. Save the bones for the dogs, the meat is for men!....

it is those magazines, TV and Movies that makes them think it.
that and the 'fashion police' who seem so intent on making women stick figures.
Women should have some meat on their bones. They are also designed to have fat for padding. Remove the fat, by diet, and their bodies go out of wack, stop producing the correct hormones, and can lead them to an early death.
Bring back rounded women. Marolyn Monroe and Mae West, where are you when we need you?

Probably because there aren't very many people like you who think otherwise. It seems that the majority of men, like a woman's body to be tight and thin. And all of the media confirms it. It's what sells. I wish there were more men like you out there. :-)

Men don't like skinny but don't take that to mean we like 250 pound buffaloes either.
