I note there was a lot of coverage of Kates interview in the Sunday newspapers today. I managed to read one of them and certainly seemd to sum up very well how we are feeling and coping without Madeleine. {The key message is that we are doing everything we can to help find Madeleine}.

i would have thought the key message should have been , the public please keep looking.

was that the purpose of the interviews, with all these papers by kate,,to try and show ye are still looking,,,
why would ye try to do that gerry? could it be that ye know the public know ye have not been looking,,

faith i have no followers,, nor am i a bad person,, and i read his blog to,, aswell as other news to obtain information, so i can form an informed opinion,, i then post my thoughts to see if my thinking, on the opinion i have formed is shared by others,, and guess what FAITH,, they are.

i agree with both Dave s and faith. Dave is right when he says this is the first time they have done something physical themselves instead of relying on someone else and the fund to do it for them, had it been me i would have been searching myself day and night until i collapsed with exhaustion not jetting off to see the pope but faith is right in what she says that the mccanns and the fund have kept Maddie in the limelight, not an easy task, most reported missing children disappear from the headlines after just a few days or a week. you both have a valid point and at the end of the day scrutinising the parents and hanging off every word they say and turning it around so that we may convince ourselves of their guilt is helping no-one especially Maddie, xx

Gerry's blog has always been a sore point with you...I have this image of you, daily each morning, peering over your glasses to check out what point you can catch him on that would afford you & your followers the maximum entertainment & venting of spite.

So its their "key message" that you've chosen today...
What exactly is the key message on the Madeleine posters??? Shall i tell you? Its "Please keep looking!".
And you did find fault with that as well last week. You didn't think making new posters was such a good idea.

Have said it before & i'll say it again...Gerry & Kate could've easily sat home & cried & let regrets eat them up. The fact that the world knows about Madeleline & that you & i & a bunch of others discuss her daily is proof enough that their attempts to keep her in the media (WHICH IS A BIG PART OF THEIR SEARCH FOR HER) has worked.

I saw the pictures of Gerry and Kate handing out flyers in Spain on what Day 93?

Correct me if Im wrong, but is this not the FIRST time they have physically done something about searching for Madeleine themselves, without just getting some media campaign to do all the work for them.

Perhaps criticism of their efforts personally has led to the statement in the blog.

It's strange how they set up a fund, went around the world, and then decided to tell the papers how bad they are feeling.
They need to sort out their priorities.
