You have to understand, alot of people have nothing better to do with their life but give rude answers, alot of these people have no life and that's all the excitement they have. Hold your head up and don't let these no-lifers get you down

Well, when you recieve a link from a mate, usually you read it through and think about it. You think "hmm, could be" and then just forward it. Next time you are in a similar situation, do half a minute of research on it by simply asking wikipedia about it or copy-pasting the title into the google search field. Not a tenth of a second passes, and many websites will pop up demonstrating that the August 27th Moon thing is impossible. Thus, you learn something and avoid being ridiculed in future situations. Cheers!

Usually I can Analise a question and at least attempt to answer it.
There is not enough information about the mars moon incident to really take a stab at answering it.
A bit of clarification could reap some pretty good answers.

I don't think anyone thought you were full of crap, but that e-mail about August 27th was, and that is simply fact. Just because you trust someone doesn't mean they're always right.

I read that answer chain. They were rubbishing the report that you forwarded and not you personally. These things happen. You cannot expect bouquets everytime. Sometimes you get brick bats as well!! Take it all in the stride:-))

I don't know what the issue is but rudeness is a form of rejection and rejection by an anonymous (im)perfect stranger is totally meaningless. Let it roll off like water on a duck. This forum was provided for all of us (even jerks?).

I think most people just wish you would attempt to research before asking. So many questions asked have already been answered countless times on this forum.
So to answer your question...
Wait, what was the question again?
