We had a couple living in our bedroom and for the last few days I have had a itchy ear that comes and goes and feeling like something is moving around in there. Does anyone know if this would be serious?

i don't think it's possible, it's probably pscycological (the sensation in your ear).

Only way to find out will be a quick trip to the Docs!

Please DO NOT fill your ear with water - thats just begging for an ear infection, or worse!!

I actually had the same problem. My doctor told me to pop my ears, you know how to pop your ears right? Well, it actually worked, the spider fell out of my ear. If it doesn't work, go to your doc.

Bugs can crawl in your ear. If you think they have lie on your side fill up your ear with water a bug would float to the top.

sometimes it could be pressure and popping the ear could help. i doubt its a bug caue if it was you would really know it they would also bite i am afraid. just check that hold your nose shut with fingers and blow hard it will pop and you should be ok
