This looks like a religion question, not a science one. Any question with a capital C "Creator" word in it should be benned from science questions.

Not particularly. You should avoid eating blood to avoid getting a blood-borne disease.

Get a transfusion only if you have a medical need for it. (And no, "sports enhancement" isn't a medical need).
