yes it is very much worth it. i've been buying books from amazon.com for several years now and i haven't had any problems so far. prices are lower, a wide range of books to choose from and it's easier to find similar books coz everything is cross referenced. if you sign up for the newsletter, you get to be notified of new books coming out. have fun, enjoy the amazon.com experience. happy reading!!

I order the majority of my books form amazon.com. I have never had any provlems with them. They are cheaper than the book stores in my town. If you plan on buying a lot of books from them sign up for amazon prime it cost $75.00 a year but you recieve free two day shipping for the whole year and with as much stuff as I order from them it is well worth it.

The great thing about amazon is the wide range of books they can provide, not so much their prices. Which are okay of course, lower than a retail bookstores at least.

It's harder to find somebody who hasn't ordered from Amazon. If it's worth buying a book from you have to weight price, convience, and selection against supporting a local bookstore. Decision is yours.

i would use it when i can't find a book at my local half price bookstores. hard to find books, or collectors items. the website is reputable, and there r even scores for the sellers, just don't buy from a low-ranked seller.

I almost use them exclusively. I preorder from them and usually receive my books the day after they are released. I have never had a problem with Amazon.

Sure, they provide prompt service and delivery, prices well below list, and the books arrive well packed and on time per their schedule.
