If you don't have anything to do like work and stuffs, then go to sleep or else your body won't keep up. Sleep allows your body to heal and get rid of stress. You can die if you stay up too long. (Too long as in 3 days or more)

why are you up?if you don't have anything important to do in the morning then go to bed.if you do have something important to do then take a nap before you go so you'll be able to think properly for the important thing.i do that when i stay up all night studying for a test.
