There is no effective herbal treatment for ADHD. All the herbal and alternative 'remedies' have been tested for effectiveness and the results are dismal. The only treatment that is proven effective, like it or not, which may be hard because there is a trend in society to be dismissive about Big Pharma, are the pharmaceutical medications such as methylphenidate, atomoxetine and dexamphetamine. This has to do with 'effect sizes'. The higher the number, the greater the effect. The number is between 0 and 1. The effect size for the stimulantia are 0.9, about as high as you can get for any type of medication. The number for omega 3 and 6 for example is only 0.16. The effect size voor cognitive training is 0.24, neurofeedback 0.29, behavioral therapy 0.02. The positive stories from people are no guarantee or prove some alternative approach works. But in some individuals, some approach might work, but it might not help you. These are all anecdotes and you have to be careful because some people will have a tendency to exaggerate the success if only out of the dislike of 'Big Pharma'. Mind you that ADHD is not a 'new' syndrome. And that stimulantia have been given to people with ADHD for many decades, I think they started at around 1940 with that. Also note that there is hardly any medication that has been so studied as methylphenidate. Over 30,000 studies have been done on ADHD medication. So there is no reason to be anti-medication. Even so, for some people these medications will not work, if so, by all means try an alternative. But if you take yourself seriously as a person entitled to have a good life, do not fail to try these medications in a proper way, guided by a good specialist on ADHD, if available.

I understand that you want the best, natural start for your baby, but It is best to stick to 'normal' doctors advice at the moment. Hypertension can be one of the signs of 'eclampsia' a potentially fatal problem for both mother & baby. There are quite a few things that can go wrong, so i would seriously suggest you stick to regular doctors advice untill after delivery. Then by all means learn about alternative reamadies, you & your chiled will probably enjoy a healthier life. but for now you need to play it safe.

Very bad idea, especially if the hypertension is pregnancy related. She needs to be under a doctor's care with real medicines, and not potentially dangerous 'herbal' stuff with unknown side effects for the mother and baby. This type of hypertension is very dangerous to the life of the mother and unborn baby.

Never ever ever ever ever use herbal preparations in pregnancy. they are useless most of the time anyway, but are ABSOLUTELY contraindicated in pregnancy. They do not have any real safety data.
Please have a sensible conversation with your physician or obstetrician as to how you can be safely managed.
