You can call your hospital's L&D, or your doctors office and tell them what you're experiencing.
It is not at all uncommon to have somewhat regular contractions for a good period of time and then they stop. It's typical of early, latent labor. Active labor could be hours or even days away for some women.
Generally, the rule of thumb is that you don't need to go to the hospital until they have been 5-7 minutes apart for more than an hour, and are so uncomfortable that you have to stop what you're doing to breathe through them, or if your water breaks.
You're very close! Rest as much as possible, hard work is ahead! Congrats in advance!

Sounds like you've gotten misplaced the mucous plug - that may occur anyplace from days to weeks earlier than the beginning however because you're beyond due date you realize the child is most likely coming quicker than later. 10 minute spacing could imply this can be a methods off however each exertions is exclusive. I could want extra expertise to recommend you however concerning ready or no longer it will depend on how positive you're on your frame and your potential and wish to control this physiologic approach. Do you realize you'll do that your self? or could you believe larger hanging your self within the fingers of the medical professionals and nurses who will type of 'take over'. Personally I pick the previous, however I have had an unassisted dwelling beginning so I'm almost always no longer the norm. Just final week I had a child within the automobile that allows you to the clinic (my contractions went from each 10 min to each two mins within the house of an hour & the complete factor from first discomfort to afterbirth used to be best probably four hours) If this can be a first little one you've gotten extra time to attend than if you happen to've already had a couple of. Hope I helped. You can do that mamma - and congratulations early!!

Unless your contractions are consistent all the hospital will do is send you back. When your contractions are 3to5 minutes apart and that is usually when they will keep you unless your water breaks. You can always call your doctor or the mother baby unit and ask them what they think you should do. They might tell you to come in to check you and then they will determine if you should stay or leave. With my other pregnancy I went in they checked me told me to go walk and to come back in 4 hours to check me again at that time they kept me. It all depends on the hospital and the staff.

If you are over due 6 days today and confirmed by your doctor, with that regular contraction & show, you should be at the hospital by now !! Have you self examine by the doctor, and monitor your baby's condition ie. his heart beat etc. It's very unlikely that you have false labour. This could be the day.

Go to the hospital and tell your doctor about your contractions. You might need some help delivering your baby.

it could mean a lot of things, but you should not be alarmed because you being so stressed out will not help in the situation. but try not to second guess yourself, best thing to do right now is to have a check-up, for the baby of course......remember the old saying, " An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure".

Don't you think that in your situation you should be talking to your doctor or midwife instead of hanging out on the internet, where a bunch of people you don't know may tell you any stupid thing, even if they have good intentions?
Call the hospital or go there just in case, they may want to induce labour at this time.

Please call your doctor and ask this question. It could be Braxton-Hicks, or it could be stalled labor. Either way, your doctor needs to be aware of what's going on.
