The dress I wanted for a pageant is very beautiful.. but under the boobs there is a hole. It doesnt show the boobs at all, but when I was 3 I was in a car accident and and I had to get CPR, and the person who did it, broke that bone under my breasts, so there is like a dent under/in between them, so I don't like to wear dresses that show it off. I know some of you will say "just accept it and move on", I DO accept it, but I dont want to show it off at pageants.

So can I order the dress in a bigger size, then have a seamstress cut it out, and sew it together so that it doesnt show anything, then have them fit it to my size?

Here is the dress

Serious answers please.

Before you buy the dress maybe you can take a pic of it to the seamstress to see if it can be done. Good luck.

Wow! The dress is absolutely gorgeous! Well, if u buy a bigger size it may not fit properly everywhere else and too many alterations on the dress might spoil the fit! Maybe u could just buy the right size and sew a piece of fabric underneath which would cover the 'whole' then u can ask your seamstress to sew beadwork/sequins which match the rest of the dress...hope u understand what i'm trying to suggest...

Good luck!

aaaah I see what you mean. Good job you posted the picture. I would've thought you could but remember if it's a bigger size it's a bigger size everywhere so the seamstress would have to adjust the waist and everything aswell.
The best thing to do would probably be to take the picture to a seamstress before you buy the dress.
It might even be just as expensive to get her to make the dress from scratch just like that (but without the hole)

could you have something added under the hole to create an illusion. Like a piece of filmy not so see through fabric? Take a picture to the seamstress and ask about this instead. It will be a whole lot cheaper. I ended up getting my wedding dress made from scratch as it worked out the same as buying one and altering it, and this way fit me perfectly first go!

if you're gonna order the dress, then have a seamstress involved, etc., it would be bloody costly. i suggest to copy the image, then have someone who could recreate it, withour the hole of course.
