I admit to being one of those people who accused you of not being an F1 fan, and I do apologise if it caused any offence. I think the word traitor would be going too far with it tho! I certainly didn't see anyone using it. You are entitled to your opinion about what happened just as much as everyone else is

A traitor is a person who says something and does another. Great to know that you aint one.
Ma'am, no one likes rule bendings (a.k.a cheating), but it happens and if you were around in F1 long enough you will be knowing that all of them do that in varying magnitudes. Unfortunate, but inevitable. And each fan tends to believe that his/her team or driver are exclusively of saints and the rest of the pack ...
IMO, there is not much fun watching a competition seeing everyone equally, we need to have a hero or two. We need a villain or two to bash occasionally and dont take it any more seriously than that. There are only 17 races in 56 weeks, we need a pastime in between!
What I have seen here is that we get along reasonably well bashing each other, but if an "outsider" questions F1, we all tend to gang up and defend F1. I havent seen any traitors here, but great F1 fans.

It is not so much you, as the fact that some people are fiercely protective of their idols or teams and don't like to hear or see anybody criticise them for any reason. Seeing your posts on here I would have put you down as a Ferrari supporter, me, I support Maclaren, but as long as people give a considered view with all the facts at hand fairly, then can a meaning full discussion take place. Not all people can agree as they see things from a different perspective, but that is a good thing for healthy debate. I personally think that Maclaren and Ferrari are as bad as each other, and they will each try to get away with things if it helps their world championship chances. I would not call you a traitor, as you are saying how and what you feel about the sport as everyone is entitled to do. light banter is acceptable, but to criticise others for their views is unkind. Keep up the answering and asking questions

I agree with others here, we all have an opinion and a healthy debate (argument) can be fun as well as rewarding. However, On Saturday evening somebody was reporting abuse to Yahoo for all those that were criticising Alonso for his intentional block. I believe the person removed their question and reported those that, as proved correctly, accused Alonso of doing the dirty on his team mate. I got two warnings, one for Answers and one from Yahoo. Whoever the fool was, he / she was stooping as low as Alonso in being selfish and babyish. To find out if it was just me that got these warnings, thought I might have upset somebody (unintentional of course), I asked a new question which was "Has anybody else received warnings from Yahoo?" and believe it or many others had. If somebody doesn't agree with me, that's tough. If I don't agree with somebody else, that's also tough. It's called life! It's just a shame that Yahoo doesn't identify the person that tried to have a load of people lose their accounts, of which I pay $20 per year for. I think Yahoo should look at the number of abuse claims that a person sends and if it is an unjust number, Yahoo should close their account and let those that want to debate, question, answer, reply, whatever, do so without threats hanging over them. Here's to happy debating! And if you don't agree, tough!

i am a McLaren fan first and foremost. it stands to reason i will support Lewis and Fernando. it is a bit gutting when they behave badly, but unfortunately most drivers do at some point of their career. You only have to look at Michael Schumacher to know where i am coming from. its just a thing you have to live with as a fan. i appreciate the other drivers on the track, after all they have to be the best of the best to get their drive in the first place.
everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if 'they' get you wrong just live with the fact that you know you and they are miles away behind computer screen. don't let it get to you or it will take the fun out of Y/A for you

You have a right to ask any question you like without criticism.
As for myself I cannot stand Hamilton who seems to be a trouble maker. If I was in Ron Dennis shoes I'd boot Hamilton out and stick with Alonso.
If the people who think Fernando is the bad boy looked deeper at what what happened this weekend they would see it was all caused by Hamilton not obeying team instructions. Furthermore Ron Dennis threw down his headset as Hamilton had sworn at him over the radio.

Well, sometimes what you say can be misinterpreted and people do have different perceptions.
It doesn't mean when you like a driver that's involved in cheating, that means you LIKE the fact that he is cheating. My point is, stick to your opinion. Let people say whatever they want- F1 is a sport and its fans have their own favorite drivers and teams and team bosses and cars and race circuits.

If Mclaren were banned the championship would be a one horse race as no other team are able to challenge Ferrari at the moment which would mean people would not watch as it would be boring. I'm not a fan of any particular team or driver I just like to watch good racing
