I put up a question last week with all my symptoms and progress and just expressing how much i want this to be all over......it's still not and i'm going mad! I know it's just a matter of time and i understand that...i think i just have the grumps(!) :)
Imagine if we were given a magic letter stating the exact date and time labour would start....i would pay millions!

I've heard that all those home remedies are just wives tales anyways so don't feel bad about having noone to do the sideways tango with. I hope your baby comes soon! Good Luck!

55% of babys come after due date so you and heaps of other women are going through the same thing right now!!
I know that doesn't actually make it any easier, but it will happen!
Try having sex and then lay there with a fat pillow shoved under your butt and feet elevated for 20mins before you go to the toilet. There is a hormone in semen which is similar to the hormone in the gel they use to induce labour. A very clever midwife told me this! and i tried it in the morning 2 days late and that morning lost plug and that night went into labour. Baby was born about 24hrs after the sex.
Don't bother with the curry, raspberry leaf tea things. Sex and nipple stimulation work though!!!

Having been 2 weeks over with my first and a week over with my second, I know where you are coming from! Hang in there! It totally sucks to be overdue especially in the heat of summer. I never once went into labor naturally and I tried everything I could to do so. I had to be induced all three times! The end is near! Best of luck to you!

Your due date can be 2 weeks either side of the magic 40 weeks. Sorry hun but you will just have to hang in there i know how uncomfy its gets at the end .

no problem sweetie , moaning helps to endure our pain or our waiting for anything in life ; better moan here then on baby.....
we all passed through this at the end of pregnancy...
baby will come out when ready wait one week then if still nothing then better go to hospital for making baby come out...
ps maybe you can talk to your baby and ask him or her to come out... I am sure it works ( haptonomy)

It can happen in a flash...really. Its when the baby is ready, not mommy. If he/she really doesnt come, wait a 3-5 days to induce. Be paitient and congrats!
You dont want to wait too long or youll have a 10lb baby! =O

It's ok to moan, I understand what you're going through...my fiancee and I are pregnant, and both of us are having mood swings, lol....(somehow I got stuck with the morning sickness). Hang in there Mom!!! You're havin' a baby!!!

Induce the labour yourself. Dance around the room with some funny music (that worked for my sister!!)

try sex and lots of walking.
I was 2 weeks early with my first and right on due date with my second.
