In the eyes of people from other nations, all Americans would be considered guilty of any act done by the US government. In reality, the people of the US no matter what their political persuasion believe in the law and support the constitution, so that we would never overthrow the government. Why would we when we all know that the president only has 4 to 8 years in office and will be gone after that time. The only time we would react is if the president refused to leave office after his term is over. Even members of the same political party would act against any president who would do that

No I don't. I do believe that is the type of thinking from which terrorists are born though.

Perhaps if you understood the way this country is founded and the document from which it's basis is written you would know that "We the people" cannot forcefully overthrow our government.

Perhaps where your from taking a leader you disagree with out back and lopping off his head is acceptable, but here it is not. So loosen the towel around your head and go sing alalalalalalalalalala with all your friends while firing your guns in the air.

So all Germans are guilty of genocide?

All Japanese are guilty of forcing their own soldiers to commit suicide bombings?

All Africans are responsible for everything from genocide to religious cleansings?

All middle easterners and Muslims are responsible for terrorism?

Please, you sound really stupid with the question. Also, why don't you label some of these "Crimes" your talking about.

Lets look at history.

Clinton authorized, without congressional approval, attacks on six different countries.

Reagan sold arms to Iran

Carter...Holy **** where to begin....

Nixon....once again...holy **** where to begin.

Basically, your ignorant.

The answer is No.

Overthrowing the government is as childish as a tantrum.

Every country on earth is guilty of something, so no matter where you are, or where you came from, if you agree to the premise that the whole is condemned by the few, you too are guilty.

Following that line of thought allowed for the killing of innocents on 9/11, and fuels terrorism. However we are responsible for who we elect. It is a representation of our integrity as citizens. Unfortunately, looking at voter turnout, we are largely apathetic to the world, and therefore we are hated by many. Allowing our government and news media to be heavily influenced by large corporations, we look at them as entertainment. Realize WE are the government, and vote ourselves a bright future.

Overthrowing our government "peacefully" would probably not be a viable option.
If we overthrew our government by force.......our own military would probably turn on us.
Don't blame me for something that I had no part of.

I believe we are guilty only by association. I also think anyone who believes the citizens should have risked their lives to overthrow a commander-in-chief who has term limits is holding us up to a higher standard than most people can meet. This is of little solace to those people, worldwide, who have lost loved ones in this conflict. But it is the way of the world.

Now if we were to go another 10 years like this? Then yes. The Americans' guilt would grow with each year that passed.

The only thing Americans are guilty of is this :
Being IGNORANT.

1) They choose to elect others to actively control their livelyhood and run their country FOR THEM.
2) They DO NOT conduct active checkup measures with these persons to see that they are performing their duties appropriately
3) They DO NOT rally, have public speaking or do human-chains to oppose legislation that takes away their rights as citizens of a democracy.
4) They listen & believe the Media and other top capitalistic sources that are all funded by the major parties.

The gays-lesbians, white supremists, labor unions, etc. - will all MARCH, rally, etc.when their civil rights are challenged.
What do Americans do ???
They sit and ***** and whine and let it all happen.
Then they get mad and start pointing fingers...........
when they should look in the mirror and start pointing at themselves for helping to make it all happen.

If you lost your rights here in the US, you let it happen.
You should have drummed up support, instead of sitting on your hands.
