I would like to become a Music teacher but not sure how to go about it, will i have to go to uni to study teaching or music because i have not seen a course which fulfills both.

I'm assuming you are in Europe because you said uni, and it may be different there, but here in the U.S. you study music and one of the options within that is music education (as opposed to composition or performance).

Generally you major in Music. Probably should take piano. Then you take educational courses required by a given state. Then you take the test for grade level in Music for certfication. You might have to student teach.

Plan on 5 years total work to get certified.

well it depends on many things, what kind of music teacher? private teacher? group teacher? formal music teacher in a formal university/school/course? etc etc
*usually in universities which offer majors in music, there are music education major too. there you can consider.
*in countries whose most universities don't offer music majors, there are formal music courses instead, for example yamaha or royal (ABRSM), which are internationally-recognised. to be able to teach in these courses, usually one should pass several auditions.
