Yes... I usually give thumbs up, but my hand slipped on a really good answer and I gave thumbs down and I could not change it...

No, because like stars, I rarely give thumbs up and thumbs down. If you get a thumbs up for me, consider yourself lucky, because I then consider your answer better than mine. But if you get a thumbs down from me, then more than likely, you're a troll. But I rarely give either of them anyway.

I almost never try to do it because I don't like hurting peoples feelings. I did it maybe 5 times since I have joined Yahoo Answers and regreted it each time, even the ones who deserved it.

That's something that holds little weight with me. I could care less when I give thumbs down. If I misunderstood someone and gave them a TD, oh well, my bad. They'll live.
