Is this in reference to Mr. Howard of Australia? This is surprising. I hadn't heard him called that before.

First of all xenepoo - Mr John Howard is the Prime Minister of Australia - you are thinking of Gordon Brown and the reason he is now Prime Minister of Britain is because he is the leader of the Labour Party. In the Westminster System it is the party that wins elections not the person. It is perfectly legal and proper for Mr Brown to take over the reins from Tony Blair. It is still the Labour Party.

John Howard IS a dictator. He has NEVER had any respect for or cared about what the people of Australia wanted (and still doesn't). He has modelled himself and his Prime Ministership on George W Bush (who I suspect he is enamoured of). He has dragged this wonderful country down to the point that people no longer have many of the rights that we used to take for granted. He has destroyed the Australian spirit and changed this once proud nation into a sycophantic lap dog of the US. The rich are richer and the rest of us can get stuffed as far as Howard and the Liberals are concerned.
He is a dictator. He and his mates have, and continue to, lie and cheat their way through one crises after another. Howard has already started throwing money around trying to buy votes and he hasn't even announced the date of the election! He is so desperate to avoid responsibility for anything he is even blaming the State Premiers for a whole range of Federal issues. It is absolutely pathetic! He is despicable and the sooner the old codger gets out the better.

He is in an endless game of trying to bring himself down to George W. Bush's level.
