'What year was it' implies all these events occured the same year which is incorrect. The patent submission date for Velcro was early 50's while Tang was late 50's.

If you want to know "What was the year" for these events, it overloads my memory circuit and that's a lot of research for 2 points.

Good questions though to stir the gray matter.

The Velcro Technology was recognized by Swiss inventor, George de Mestral in 1948 it was patented in 1955. http://inventors.about.com/library/weekly/aa091297.htm

Wagon Train debuted in 1957. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050073/

Tang was first formulated in 1957 but only marketed in 1959. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tang_(drink)

Jim Brown began his NFL career in 1957. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Brown

Jackie Robinson's last game was 1956 but he announced his retirement in January of 1957 when the Dodgers traded him to the Yankees.

Si I guess, averaging these out, the year you're looking for is 1957.

Good question and it does bring back memories.

I'm a great westerns fan and I only know about Wagon Train. I think it was 1957. It starred Ward Bond and Robert Horton. Horton was the scout called Flint McCullough. As a kid I thought he was my hero but then he tried a singing career and I thought he was awful. How could my hero do that to me!
