I need some advice please thanks?

Question

My husband makes enough money to pay ALL our bills, but due to we had to fix the a/c in the car we got behind. We have paid my mom off for the loan she loaned us. Now we just owe our monthly bills, rent, car payment, insurance, phone.

Okay he waits to pay car note with all the utitlites instead at first of the months check. So what if it will be sent in two weeks early. Because he does this we are still behind.

I told him that for now own I want him to turn his pay check over to me and after all the bills for that two weeks were paid I would give him the rest back. I told him I would cut out cash for his gas in car and cigs and gro too.

He got mad and raised hell. I am trying to help out. Since all he does is work and sleep. He tells me he doesn't have time to call and get put of budget bill. I told him he has to due to his name is on the account.
When I had the bills in my name before I left him last year all our bills were paid up to-date and on time and he still makes the same

I know we can pay them all off in a few months and still be up-to-date. I can't work I am disabled and my check isn't but $247.00 a month.

I am 31 he is 50 I shouldn't be having to tell him how to pay the bills.

What should I do?

keep on him that you would like to add to the household duties and that it would make you feel better that your contributing to the tasks that need to get done and that also you could make it all run a little smoother. show him what you mean, and if he trusts you there shouldnt be a problem. good luck.

You 2 need to sit down and write out when the bills are due, how much they are, and when they will be paid. Put it on paper, it's easier to deal with. Tell him you want to help out by paying the bills so no one has to worry that it's not being done. Tell him you want to take the stress of this off him and you are willing to do it to relieve the stress from him and you. Tell him you dont' want financial stress to come between your relationship with him or other family members who have to loan you money.

I be honest you are going overboard to tell your husband what to do which is a big mistake wifes do. Your husband understand that the bill are to be paid and asking him his check that he sweat for, in crossing the red line. Let him handle it and ask if him how you can assist in paying the bill with what you get every month. Let him handle it they way he used to.

Just tell him to let you worry with the bills, and that that is one less thing for him to worry about. That way you can keep all your bills up to date, he can still have money for gas/whatever, and no creditors will call if something goes wrong. It has to be a two way street...I let my wife handle everything but we discuss it together..and it works.

as hes older he maybe sees it as you taking his money off him, tell him your worried and you want to keep up to date with things, talk through the bills and how easy it will be if you paid them, maybe he just feels threatened
