Good question.
I admit that I often wish I had as much money as Bill Gates. But with big money comes big responsibility & I don't envy that. I can be happy where I'm at. If I really want to improve my lot in life, then I can work toward that end.

I know it's not right but I am envious of people that have been married for years to the same person and are still very happy. I wish I had that. But am happy for themâ¥j

I don't have all the materialistic things that some people have, but I do have a great son, a good job, a good family & friends, and a wonderful man!! How lucky am I? Envious is not a option!!

From my own experience. I do not envy other people; however I do look up to them. I think the problem is when people are jealous of them they are not happy for them. For example, I want to be a reporter. Right now Iam producing. I see the reporters and anchors and instead of being jealous, I look up to them, because I know if I work hard like Iam I will get there. Iam happy to have the experience to be where I am in such a great network. Advice: Don't envy people, but admire them instead!

I am not envious of anybody, because you never really know what problems they really have, and I would rather just deal with my own. I am a happy camper.

Nope it does me no good to want what I can't have so why put myself in that situation....I just let them know that I am happy for them and I truly am happy I am happy where I am at.

sometimes i am very envious of people who have dads and they treat them like crap and im mad about that cause my dad was killed when i was young and these people have dads and they dont even appreciate it so im kinda envious of people with wonderful dads like mine was

I' am fine at where I' am now in life because I' am still learning, but in the future I would be happy with my life when I finish my goals and plans. I don't envy others because it doesn't get you anywhere in life.

im happy where i am. im 27, married to the greatest guy on earth, 4 wonderful kids, brand new cars, and we own our own 6 bedroom house and we aren't even in debt so yeah im happy :)
