The upper layer of atmosphere on Venus is sulfuric acid. This is the reason for Venus to appear yellow through a telescope. But most of Venus's atmosphere and cloud cover is carbon dioxide. Hope this helps.

It isn't the acid that will kill you though it is the pressure and the temperature 500 degrees C at the surface, with a pressure that is over 90% what you would feel on Earth.
