Oh my! I actually have a list of my books... being a bit weird (and having no friends and no life, lol) in 8th grade, I made a list with all of my books in Microsoft Excel, alphabetized by author and with the number of pages for each and whether each one is hard copy or paperback... lol, I used to keep it up, but I haven't recently, haven't had the time. My list of fiction books reached just under 500 when I got rid of about 80 of them a few months back, and I've got about 150 nonfiction and reference books on top of that!
And that's just in my bedroom, lol. I'm18, and still live at home (for all of the next 10 days), so "at home" might include my family-- I've no idea, my mother has about 100 books, and then my father has a lot of reference-type books in the study (filled built-in bookshelves on two and a half of the walls) so probably another few hundred there. We love books, my family! :)

I have around 200. I'm running out of room to put them. I have a giant 6-shelf bookcase (pratically full), I got some in a box near my bed, another plastic bin thing in my closet, some lined up in my closet, and now I have to move some books to our guest room's closet to make room for new books.

I started collecting in the 5th grade. I started off with R.L. Stine's Fear Street series and moved on from there. I don't have those books anymore, but I still have alot.

I have exactly 69 novels. And probably only read a few. I don't enjoy reading that much. But when I do read I read two books at a time. For one I get bored with one or the other. Cerantly on The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley and Sweet Talkin' Demon based on the Charmed series.

Books are very enjoyable to me and I have been collecting for a number of years. I have somewhere between 300 to 400 at present as I just donated a number to a local book sale for charity.

At my home I probably have around 200- but I have been living there only the past two years.
At home, my "registry" listed 823 books- but these are only the ones I actually read.
I guess my family and I collectively own around 1250-1300 books.

over 40 , read atleast 25, all History books, big thick boring, mostly old history books, truth is stranger than fiction, and to me far more interesting. I normally read about 4-8 books a year, all history, last year I read close to 20, got on a subject and still not bored with it, this year i'm at 11and am reading 5 books at present, I read in groups of books, read them entirely, and get another set on the subjects I am interested in, and they vary, I go to LIbraries often, buying books is not for me, to expensive of a habit if I bought what I read..

even nevertheless i'm in college, i'm in simple terms seventeen, so I nonetheless stay at domicile. consequently, all of my books are saved in my mattress room. i've got not got a bookcase—I colour block them and stack them on the floor, up against the wall, under my table and under my window. It seems very cool, and that i attempt to edit my sequence to easily save the books I enjoyed analyzing or plan to study. P.S. As an atheist, i'm upset and fairly indignant which you will possibly accuse somebody else of being an atheist in simple terms through fact they are being a foul pastime. Atheists at the instant are not all heartless, recommend people, in simple terms like how Christians at the instant are not all cram-their-ideals-down-your-throat Bible-thumpers. do not join a foul prejudice, m'expensive.

I only have a few since I am a huge fan of going to the library. The worst part is I keep buying new books to read and on top of my monthly flow of library books, I never get to read the books I bought. Argh! =D

I live in a house hold of avid readers. We have a ton of books. I have 2 book shelves in my room, one with maybe 500 books on it and one with my kids books and I only keep about 30 books on that. We have book shelves all over the house. We do get rid of them once a month trading them with friends or at the used book store. I love amazon because you can get used books for cheap!
