What a great question! I deal with it by reminding them of what they said before & telling them if they want to change plans, they need to communicate better & make sure everyone else is on board, too.

Make up your own game with your own rules. Either that or get them to write the rules down so you have them in writing for the next time they try to maneuver this move.

My father was like that, and of course being a kid I couldn't do anything about it. But I think it's best, if you can avoid it, not to be around them.
