Did you enjoy it? I just went to a concert they did at Wolf Trap Virginia and it was FANTASTIC!

Probably one of the very best rock shows of a classic nature I have been to in years. Vocals were strong and enthusiastic, jamming was strong, not at all like a bunch of guys going after a check, this was rock at its finest knocked out by seasoned pros!

I have never seen them live before, and this year I have been on a quest to see some of the best classic era Rock and Pop acts that are still on the road and who still have a majority of their classic lineups intact.

I saw THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, and that was very good, but the MOODY BLUSE was even better, even right down to a nice light show and video backdrop accompminent!

I'm glad I want despite the rain...so, have you ever seen the Moody Blues in person?

I've seen them five times in concert and have most of their albums. They were my favorite band for a long time although I don't care as much for their music after their album "Seventh Sojourn." The best MBs concert I saw is when they performed with an entire classical orchestra.

The Moody Blues have always been one of my absolute favorites of all time. I saw them live several times and most recently at the (country's largest) ampitheater near my home. The first half was a little slow, the crowd wasn't quite on their feet yet, but after a short intermission, they came back and rocked the house!!! Other classic rock acts to check out for sure STYX - still rock!!! We're going again Sept 23rd, REO Speedwagon this month on the 23rd. Genesis in October at the Rose Bowl LA, CA. (I think it's in Oct) ;) Chicago still packs a great crowd, but they have slowed down a bit in their senior years. Also saw Bob Seager at Staples and don't forget the God himself Sir Paul at the Pond. Enjoy it while you can. I'm taking my 7 year old to see Styx w/Foreigner and Def Leppard in Sept. Earplugs anyone!?

The Moody Blues have been my favorite group since the late 60's ...I am now 51 and they can still make me smile and cry all within the same album (sorry, CD...)

I have been to many "old timer" concerts..the Who, Rolling Stones, Cat Stevens, Chicago...only once...they were fun, BUT....... I have seen The Moody Blues 5 times in my years, and I am always transported backward and sometimes forward to a much friendlier time... when the music reached down inside of me...
In the late 80's I sobered up and "A QUESTION OF BALANCE" ..".SO DEEP WITHIN YOU", " ARE YOU SITTING COMFORTABLY" were so much a part of my early sobriety giving me pause for thought may days..

My 2nd. wedding I walked down the isle (very slowly) to

"IN MY WORLD...it's heaven on earth when you're near...." and that has always been my favorite M.B. tune...may very well have it played at my Memorial service too....

all the concerts are awesome, the people who show up ...and I have been to 3 concerts in Dallas, TX and 2 in Florida

are always very laid-back, polite, just grooving to the flow of energy and music..re-living old memories, and maybe, making some new ones...wish this tour included TEXAS..I would be there one more time.......

Yes I have seen the Moody Blues in the 90's. Unfortunately the concert was horrible. Glad you had a better experience!

Since '94 I've been to see them almost every year. Didn't go this year, though. Try to keep in touch with people that do go and try to keep up on latest through the site "Are You Sitting Comfortably?"Cant' figure out why they're not in Rock Hall
