I have one of those two drawer file cabinets right beside my bed, with a big thick pillow on it, and a thin, furry dog bed on top of that. Our toy fox terrier sleeps there some nights (when I'm tossing and turning). But most nights he curls up right by my cheek, with my arm over him. Little guy just craves attention.
But oh so soon, I expect to lose him. He is going to bed with my oldest daughter (4 1/2 years old), putting her to sleep, and then coming out. When she gets a bit less active in her sleep, he will be with her all night I bet.
Oh, and by the way. The only reason he uses the furry doggy bed, is because the little girl gave it to him. He's shredded every other bed we ever gave him. But this one is special because she gave it to him.

My dog sleeps at the bottom of the bed. Sometimes she'll sleep right next to me but that is usually because she is trying to steal one of my pillows.

Back in the days when I had a dog, I never would let them on the bed. They get it dirty.

I wish I had a dog. My landlord won't let us have pets. Although once we move somewhere that allows pets, I will let my puppy sleep with us, because dogs are human's best friends.

Both of our chihuahuas sleep with us. Rockie likes his space so he can roll on his back and snore. Bandit on the other hand has to be plastered to your body. He likes behind the knees, or belly the best. Won't move for anything.

Our dog sleeps with my husband and myself. She likes to snuggle between the two of us, she is so cute, she looks at us with those cute little brown eyes and cuddles up to both of us, because we sleep close together even though we have a king size bed all three of us are in one little spot. Kinda funny, and when our daughter gets up she jumps in bed with us and so there are four of us in the bed with plenty of room.
