I didn't know society dictated that. I have yet to see a woman get arrested for not wearing a bra. Nor have I had any run-ins with the official bra inspector. I wear one because it helps hold things up and helps with the projection some.

Well, in my days of radical feminism I went bra-less. I still consider myself a feminist, but bras provide support - which I consider to be a worthwhile benefit. I think it's each to their own, really. If you don't feel that you need to wear a bra, don't wear one. Society seems to have moved past the point of caring (for the most part)

As a lowly male, I thought it was the law of gravity that was the dictator ? Now I am not complaining about your frustration, but when you are 60, maybe you would despise the law of gravity without the aid of a bra.

I think it all comes from Puritanical European ideas of morality, which are still basis of much of USA culture. If sexual desire has to be controled.
That's changing, especially after the 1970s bra-burning era. I know many that don't, unless they are dressed up or playing sports.

Those poor women burned their bra's a while back...maybe you should start a petition to do the same...

i forgot that there are people running around looking to cane bra less unaccompanied women thanks for reminding how tough it must be
