Well this is appropriately asked in mythology and folklore which is where most of the religion questions actually belong. Satan is a mythological creature. There is no concrete or invisible entity in existence that answers to that name. I personally doubt if evil is in charge. Just people with personal motives some good some bad.

You are the caliph of the world because you are son of Prophet Adam. Would give satan the authority when the Al Mighty The God endowed man with the authority. Satan is not in charge because if you relinguished it, someone else and I in charge of the world depending on each individual abilities.
However, there are satans among jinns and satans among men; they commune one another.

Satan and evil are terms we use to describe very bad occurances that seem unexplained. People being put to death was normal until Jesus showed that it was wrong. Little by little, we are becoming attuned to idea that life is precious. Drugs are being invented to help those whose brain chemicals are inbalanced. The future may be bright if we keep overpopulation in control. Please people don't have more than 2 children, one per person. Thanks for letting me say that.

I don't believe in satan, so I don't think so. I like the Greek version, when you die, your dead, no one is punishing you. Their Hades was just a place spirits went, nothing about punishment. :)

Nope, just @ssholes.
Things are shifting, though, and a lot of the systems that have kept the jerks in charge are crumbling.
Actually, if you want to see Christ incarnate... go look in the mirror... each of us is a piece of God incarnate and each of us has the ability to manifest our own reality.
If you want to see the devil incarnate, look in the same mirror... we are our own biggest stumbling blocks.

well maybe in some other instances we can say he do..why?.. we can now see people with deteriorating faith to God that tend them not to believe Him.. so maybe we can say that SATAN is slowly holding earths neck..
