Being an intelligent, active, athletically involved, and yes, quite independent young female (who KNEW what she wanted to do in life) interested/excited by the Math/Sciences ... and believe me ....
When I was growing up ... wanting to actually take shop classes, to learn woodworking or welding or other skills like that for a girl was NOT available ... we were tracked into "girly" stuff like the cooking/sewing/dance classes ...
Had to PUSH and DEMAND, to PROVE that I belonged in the Physics, Chem, Calculus and other such classes (and yes, did succeed!) ...
All these interests set me apart from other females my age ... and once on my own (and in College/The Military) ... I NEVER looked back!

good looks and good skin I found it a curse cuz every one wanted to be friends with the pretty girl and I didn't want to be friends with every one I just wanted to be alone allot of the time.. But now I empresses it with open arms and take it for all its worth.

Stupid men - well I should really say it was stupid ME for getting involved with stupid men who treated me poorly. I had no self esteem, so I suppose that was my curse.
