Glasses. I'm a notorious insomniac, and contacts drove me crazy as a teenager because they would dry out. My pupils are also unusually large and constantly dilated more than most (just found out from an optometrist), so they made me miserable. Besides, I can't count the number of times I've had to literally throw on my glasses and clothes and run out the door due to an emergency, and contacts would have been too much. Likewise, I'd rather throw glasses on a nightstand than stick my finger in my eye.

Glasses -- have high correction (nearsighted) plus Astigmatism (very high also) ... and that combination never allowed me to be comfortable or see as well with contacts no matter what type they were. I only use (temporarily) a 'close-enough' (but not really completely corrected) contacts under a set of goggles when I am swimming ... mainly because if I do NOT do this -- I can't read the signs on the doors to find my way back to the women's showerroom or lockers!

I have glasses but I don't really wear them that much. I have to wait a year before I can get contacts.
