Isn't this Great, "Weapons Given to Iraqi's are missing"?

Apparently the Pentagon has lost track to track of 190,000 AK-47 Assault Rifles and Pistols given to the Iraqi Security Forces in 2004 and 2005.

Isn't it great American Military may have provided weapons that are killing their own.

So, we're deliberately arming some of the provincial militias that we've been fighting -- and simply losing weapons which are finding their way into the hands of other....

Yeah, and it's also comforting to know that General Petraeus was in command of training Iraqi forces during that time.

And, at the time, General Petraeus was in charge of Security forces.....figures! He'll probably come back in Sept. to complain that the surge would go better if Iraqis had more weapons. Have we ever had such incompetence in the history of our country?

hey !! if the terrorists get our weapons, that means they get to do more damage right?

and if they are doing lots more damage and lots more mischief and killing more iraqis and american soldiers, then that means the place is getting to be much more of a mess right?

and if the place is a huge mess, will the generals be saying its time we leave or that we need to "surge" some more and stay the course?
