Last poll I saw had him UNDER 30% so that means 7 of 10 do not like the job he is doing

The people left who still like Bush are a sad lot. The number of scandals, blunders and lies by this administration is unique in American history. There is no waiting for history to judge this man, the results are already in and overwhelming. Seriously, we will be fortunate to get through the next 1 1/2 years with him as president without a disaster of epic proportions. We are in perilous times.

Read the polls... the last time I checked it was 27% approve of Bush. This has been consistent for about a year now.

Latest polls for Bush ranged from 30 to 36%. Latest polls for Congress ranged from 3 to 8%. I think both polls are about right.

More than the media and polls let on. I know a LOT of people who really like President Bush. However, you never hear their opinion.

When viewed through the 20-20 hindsight of history, many of our best presidents haven't been all that popular while in office, and many of the popular presidents have been proven to be some of the worst. Media hype tends to distort the image of the president right now because hype & discord sells newspapers (read: ad space). History will be the judge, and many believe GWB will rate among the best presidents ever in the long run.

The funny thing is hearing people cry about 2000 when the last election was in 2004.

The last little bit Bush seems to have are the anti-abortion wing nuts and the tax break for the wealthy zealots

Apparently enough people to get him elected twice. His approval rating is better than congress though.
