Are glow lights worth it?

Question

I am new to planting, and would like to know if their is a more cost effiant lights then glow lights. *Just so you know this is not for weed*

I heard floursant lights work well, but is there a voltage that works best, or is a standered light bulb okay.

Just so you know I am trying to grow, If you have any tips on any of these plants it would be great.

For mature plants the grow lights are worth the money. You can use standard fluorescent tubes for starting seedlings indoors, but to grow your plants farther they won’t get the wider spectrum of light they require. That is when you need tubes that are designed to promote plant growth.

Vegetables or foliage plants grow best in blue spectrum
light, which is a cooler form of light. Metal Halide lights are the most popular form of blue spectrum lighting.

Flowering plants grow best in red-orange grow light. The best type of red-orange light is the high pressure sodium light (HPS).
Other bulbs are HID, Mercury Vapor, and LED bulbs. High Intensity Discharge (HID) do just what the name says. they have more intense light. Just like the light at noon is stronger than the light in the evening. The bulb is more intense with the same wattage.

Gynura 'Sarmentosa' is the one that produces smelly orange flowers. 'Royal Velvet' has pink flowers.

all bulbs emitted different frequencies of the visible light spectrum... that's why some emit a red/orange light like high pressure sodium and incandescent bulbs, some emit a bluish white light like metal halide, mercury vapor and cool white fluorescent bulbs..... plants grow best with the light spectrum that the sun emits, some house plants do not like direct sunlight


blue /white lights are a bit like the sun at high noon or spring which promote vegetative growth, red/orange lights are a bit like the sun at dawn or fall ... and all plants are different and flowers bloom at different times of the year... trial and error, move the plants around and try different things and see how the plants react... and a fresh soil change every year or two helps.

... look for a "full spectrum " bulbs meant for plants ....

I say no. that's only my opinion, yet i've got confidence that people who say they love the NARS the two have not tried the Neutrogen, or they don't choose to alter to drugstore makeup. I responded a question only e different day from a female who owned the Sheer Glow and became soliciting for techniques on different foundations. She felt it became too sheer for her liking. i think of the Neutrogena is the perfect beginning place, and in my view, i could particularly spend my money on different extreme-end makeup, like.. A Tarte blush, or a Make Up continually HD powder :) Aaanyways, i'm finished ranting, haha.
