I have the new chevy warranty on my vehicle, but found a hole in my carpet under one of the mats while vacumming.

Yes, subject to inspection. I had a problem at 18 months 7500 miles with the front carpet and the right front door inside trim panel. The consultant took care of the floor carpet but showed me that I was the cause of the trim panel damage that was caused by the seat belt being caught in the door on closing.

That may in fact be considerd normal wear and tear... depending on how recent your purchase was. If you bought the car last week, I would suspect you could argue a case, but any longer, they could take the standpoint that the mat you had over the carpet wore a hole in the fabric and it's your fault..... I'm not saying it is, just looking at the worst case scenario in order to provide a fair answer.

You should stop by your local chevy dealership.Have the service manager insp the carpet and go from there.Hope this helps
