I traveled around the country a bit when I was younger, and stayed in hostels in San Francisco, Seattle, Santa Barbara, and other cities. Many nights there are empty beds in the hostels. Why doesn't the left give those empty beds to homeless people? They're always so concerned with the homeless, and so dismissive of christians who open missions to house them. Surely, they could use their liberal dogma to open their arms to the homeless.

Oh, that's right. You have to have a passport with an international stamp to stay in most hostels. That keeps the homeless out, as well as any blacks who might be looking for a $20 bed in San Francisco. Hypocrisy? You bet!

Answer the question, and stop trying to make personal attacks. It's the usual liberal tactic.

for get it....number one it cost money to clean those rooms that you want to dish out for charity....number two most of them can afford it and choose to live on the streets....number three if you keep giving they will never try to bring them selves up and just keep taking. I believe in helping those who will work to better themselves but most of them love living the way they do. let them sleep where they want that is the life they chose

Some -of the homeless may want to live that way but obviously being homeless is not the choice of children, the mentally ill and those with problems not dealt with.
It seems to me that there is a better way to deal with homelessness than blaming them or simply providing a bed for a night or two
I am not ,at the moment actively doing anything to help, so I have no room to criticize anyone.
Another Answerer here made a good point about it costing money for cleanup and maintenance. It takes money and effort and people to volunteer( for often thankless jobs )such as these -the poor will always be with us ---
Sometimes we simply have to do the right thing 'Thanked ' or not , and reach out to those who are are helpless.

in case you're bodily or mentally sick, bypass into your interior reach authority workplaces and ask to be certain the social workers there. As you're 'quickly to be homeless' my in basic terms right advise is to incredibly bypass and take a examine out a pair of hostels and communicate to the staff their approximately vacancies or techniques to be referred directly to them. an outstanding style of hostels are on a daily foundation, you take place, if there's a mattress attainable, and in case you bypass their get right of entry to regulations (no alcohol in a dry hostel as an occasion) then they'd take you (or would possibly no longer). As you have it sluggish, does no longer you be greater useful attempting to touch your pals and relatives and spot in case you could sleep on their floor while you style your self out or get a stay in activity, like a waiter in a hotel.

Antony,
I appreciate you feeling towards the homeless. But the reality is business and charity are two different ends which cannot meet together. Business may give some of their earnings for charity but not the business itself. If you feel otherwise try it our for yourself.
