Like you do this at a fast food restaurant usually with a large soda. and you just take the lid off and throw it right back at the cashier and then drive away really quick. my friends have been talking about this. and i can't seem to remember the name of it. does anyone know the name or have any funny stories related to this?

You can go ahead and do that if you are so inclined. A word of warning though. Now most places that have drive up windows also have monitors that are set to see the license plate numbers on the cars. Most of them are doing it for insurance reasons. It is one more safety and loss prevention measure that results in lower insurance rates for the restaurant.
