Cy Young has 749, that is 103 more than the second place pitcher. 100 complete games is more than todays best pitchers will have in a career. It is amazing that he was able to do this, people say that it was the era of baseball at that time , I say BS, complete games are complete. 9 innings. Enough said.

Cy Young with 749. People talk about the 56 game hitting streak, Ricky's 1400+ stolen bases, Young's 511 victories, and even Pete Rose's hit record, but I think it is safe to say that this record will NEVER EVER be broken.

this is one of two records i think will never be broken
most completed : cy young 749
the other is most consecutive: cal ripken jr 2632 both are most impressive especially since they were both soooo dedicated to the sport and were good clean guys

That would be Walter Johnson at 106 completes games, that record will never be broken again wow. Now a day players won't throw more than 100 pitches and usually they get to 100 pitches around 7 inning. So that record is never be broken.
